Micah is 2!!!

Ok, so this post is a little late, but things have been busy around here. :) Micah turned two back on July 24th. We were up visiting Dillon's home town for his sisters wedding so we got to spend the day with Gigi's, Aunt Lexi and Uncle Brandon, Grandma Linda and my sister, Wendy, who had come along to help with the kiddos during the trip. We went to the Super Playground, then out to eat at Pizza Hut and we finally ended the celebration back at the house for ice cream and cake.

This year I made Micah an Elmo cake. I think it turned out cute. :)


When we got home we also did a little party with Micah and 2 of his friends that were born around the same time. I bakeed cakes for each of them.

Last night our friends brought over dinner. Needless to say Micah loved it! (He loves ALL food...except chocolate pudding. Go figure!) Well, I look over after we finished up and Micah is sitting at the table with his head down. Take a look at what followed...

Micah's First Haircut

Today my baby boy turned into a big boy right before my eyes. I must admit I am a little sad to see the little curls gone from his cute little (I mean BIG) head. But I also must admit that it was TIME to get it done and over with. :)

SplashPad

Today I took Micah to a neighborhood splashpad. (Yes, that is him in the middle of the picture.) He had a grand ole time. :) He had to warm up a little to the idea that his face was going to get wet, but then he was all into it running around and splashing in the water. I know we will be frequenting this place over the summer. :)
